HOUSTON, T.X.-National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today that it has hired Randy Norris, as its new Branch Sales Manager for its Austin, TX branch operation.
“We are very excited about adding someone of Randy’s caliber to the NTS team,” said Wes Jones, Regional Vice President of NTS. Mr. Jones added “Randy began his trench safety career in 1989 with the Plank Company. He stayed with the Plank Company team through its successor company, NES Trench Shoring. Most recently Randy was with Equipment Rental Service located in Austin. We are thrilled that someone who has over 23 years of direct market experience in our industry and who also has been providing project solutions to our customer base in the Austin market has joined the NTS team. Randy is recognized as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable specialists and we anticipate our customers being able to leverage Randy’s extensive industry experience on future projects”.
NTS has 12 branch operations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas and Louisiana. In maintaining the objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open at least two additional new branch operations in 2012 with additional branches planned to follow in 2013.
